The Hattiesburg Public Schools Information Technology Department is responsible for implementing and maintaining educational technology equipment and providing technical and professional technology related support and training in the district. Our office deals with the district-wide technology plan to help teachers and administrators apply technology tools in the classrooms to help students learn and grow. We help the district staff and students utilize computers, laptops, interactive white boards, software, labs, phones, websites, programs and many other technologies to help today’s learners become tomorrow’s leaders. The Technology Department works closely with every department in the district to help meet their technology needs, as well as vendors and organizations around the region, state and the world. The goal of the Information Technology Department is to give our staff and students the access and training they need to use the technology available to increase and support student academic achievement in Hattiesburg Public Schools.
