Brianna Luckett, Ariana Redeemer and Kayla Theodore won 1st place and brought home GOLD medals from the state FCCLA meeting in Jackson, MS. They competed in the Chapter Service Project Display competition with their project: “When Will It STOP?” - a look at domestic abuse.

On February 17 four students from Hattiesburg High School participated in the Health Occupation Students of American (HOSA) District Competition at South Jones High School. The following students competed in the Nursing Assistant category: Kera'shema Tillman, Dendrick Hurd, and Keiara Williams. Chloe Paige competed in Prepared Speaking. Hattiesburg High School is hosting a FAFSA Day on Saturday, Feb 11 at 2pm in the Multipurpose Room. FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) determines how much Federal grant money, work study, and student loans a student can receive for college. The 25th Hub City Classic Speech and Debate Invitational begins today on the HHS campus!
