GED GRADUATION - Thursday, JUNE 30, 2011

The HPSD Adult Education Program will be honoring the 2010-2011 GED Graduates at a ceremony on Thursday, June 30, 2011. The ceremony will be held at Hawkins Elementary School at 526 Forrest Street. Graduates are asked to arrive at 6:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 7pm.

I think the summer writing project is a great idea. I like helping students write stories, pulling from their own experiences and blending stories from what they know. I wish the best success for the writing projects and hope many will come out and have a blast. I look forward to finding out more about the stories that will be written.

Summer Writing Project

The Summer Writing Project is sponsored by the Retired Education Personnel of Mississippi and is open to students who have completed the third through eighth grades in either Hattiesburg Public Schools or the Forrest County Schools for 2010-2011 school year.

 

The projects are prompted by:

HAEOP Members Attend State Conference
