HHS SENIOR PARKER KRAG APPOINTED TO US NAVAL ACADEMY

The Hattiesburg Public School District is proud to announce that HHS Senior Parker Krag has received an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Parker, the son of Charlotte and Roy Krag and grandson of Lynn Grantham, was one of the first students from Mississippi to receive an appointment this year. smART Art Show April 23 - May 13

The Hattiesburg Library is hosting a gallery of student artwork created through the smART Program coordinated by Dianne Ellzey. Student artwork exemplifying a variety of health concepts will be displayed through May 13.

Walmart Sponsors HHS Project

Over 150 Hattiesburg High School students participated in an educational grant program about learning outside the classroom. The $1,000 grant was given by Walmart, Inc. to conduct an essay/poster project based on the book "Why are Students Not Learning on the School Bus?"

HHS Seniors working to become Cert. Nursing Assistants

These Hattiesburg High seniors were selected to participate in the Nursing Mentorship Program sponsored by the Office of Nursing Workforce. They have just finished Phase One of the program, which consisted of a clinical rotation at Forrest General Hospital.
