The Hattiesburg High Annual Staff will hosts the Innaugural Miss Tiger Universe Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, January 21, at the Hattiesburg High School Auditorium.  Contestants will compete for various prizes and scholarships and will be judged in the areas of talent, evening wear and interview.  Miss Tiger Universe will serve a one-year term as an ambassador for Hattiesburg High School. The pageant is open to the public, advance tickets are $3 or $5 at the door.

The pageant was spearheaded by two Hattiesburg High students – Jonathan Green and Kadejah Todd as part of their Senior projects. The pageant Director is Dr. Deitra Davis, HHS art teacher, and pageant/annual staff advisor is Alma A. McDonald. Mrs. McDonald will co-host the pageant with Kenner Spiller - Miss William Carey 2012.
