This week the HPSD Technology Department along with selected teachers attended the 2012 Mississippi Educational Computing Association’s Conference in Jackson, Mississippi. Music Teacher, James Dean from Rowan Elementary presented A 21^st Century Music Classroom and Elvira Deyamport, Ed.S. from Thames Elementary led a hands-on session on Using Skype in the Classroom. In addition, our very own Director of Information Technology, Ross Randall, was elected as this year’s president. We are proud to have Hattiesburg Public Schools represented at this conference.
