Jasmin Baxter

Kimberly Lee, a native of Hattiesburg and graduate of Hattiesburg High School Class of 2009, has always been passionate about education. During her time at HHS, she was an active member of the cheer team and Golden Misses, graduating with honors as a member of Beta Club and a Mississippi Scholar. Following her high school journey, Kimberly pursued her aspirations at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Development in 2015.

Continuing her academic journey, Kimberly attained her master’s in Early Childhood Education from The University of West Alabama in 2021. That same year, Lee began her career with Hattiesburg Public Schools, where she landed a position as a kindergarten teacher at Grace Christian Elementary.

For Kimberly, teaching is not just a profession but a lifelong dream fulfilled. She finds joy and fulfillment in her role, aiming to leave a lasting impact on each student she encounters. Her dedication to education and commitment to student success shines through her work each day.

Looking ahead, Kimberly eagerly anticipates the opportunity to influence young minds further. She plans to establish a business catering to the needs of families and children, cementing her dedication to education and community service.
