How it Works:

The Hattiesburg Early Learning Collaborative Grant allows us to provide a community-wide effort to make Pre-K available for everyone.

Hattiesburg Public School District (HPSD), Pearl River Valley Opportunity Head Start (PRVO) and five childcare centers are working together to provide all 4-year-olds an opportunity to attend Pre-K. 

Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1st.

REGISTRATION BEGINS MARCH 1, 2021 FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR.

After you complete and submit the application, a member of the Hattiesburg Early Learning Collaborative team will contact you to continue the application process. The following information will be required to complete registration. 

Items necessary to complete registration:

1. Parent/guardian’s ID
2. Child’s birth certificate
3. Child’s social security card
4. Child’s current 121 immunization record
5. Two (2) current proofs of residency
