Originally from Hattiesburg, MS, Jarrius Adams is a proud 2015 graduate of Hattiesburg High School. He served as Student Body President, Captain of the Speech and Debate Team, and a member of the Chamber Orchestra. Upon graduation, Adams attended the University of Mississippi on a full academic scholarship. He discovered his passion for advocacy during his transition from high school to college. Since 17, Adams worked on numerous local, statewide, and presidential campaigns that worked towards fully funding public education, expanding Medicaid, canceling student loan debt, and restoring the African American Vote. He is passionate about his community, and that passion led him to Howard University School of Law, where he currently serves as the 3L Class Council President and was recently elected as the 57th National Chair of the National Black Law Students Association.
Adams enjoys talking politics, working out, fishing, playing the cello, mentoring young Black males, and studying/teaching proper Etiquette & Roberts Rules of Order in his spare time.
